A journey for flute and guitar through dances and rhythms of the world

"Danzas poéticas" is a journey for flute and guitar through dances and rhythms of the world, from Bartók to Piazzolla, from Granados to Pujol. Andrea Oliva and Giampaolo Bandini, guitarist with a long-standing presence on the international scene, build together a program of rare intensity traversing the musical traditions of Romania, the Balkans, Spain, and Latin America. The program includes Béla Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances, Dvořák's Sonatina in G major op. 100, Miroslav Tadić's Macedonian Pieces, Enrique Granados's Valses poéticos, Astor Piazzolla's Histoire du Tango, and Máximo Diego Pujol's Dos Aires Candomberos.
