Andrea Oliva and Anna Loro come together in a chamber music project exploring the repertoire for flute and harp. Anna Loro is one of the most distinguished representatives of the Italian harp school: she studied at the Conservatorio di Verona and furthered her training with Pierre Jamet in Gargilesse, going on to collaborate with institutions such as the Arena di Verona, the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, and German radio orchestras, performing under the baton of Abbado, Maazel, and Berio. She holds the harp chair at the Conservatorio "Luca Marenzio" in Brescia and gives masterclasses throughout Europe.
Andrea Oliva and Luisa Prandina bring together their individual excellence in a chamber music project for flute and harp. Principal harp of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra since 1985 — a position she won through an international audition at a very young age — Prandina has performed in the world's most prestigious concert halls, collaborating with ensembles such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and the Virtuosi di Mosca, and appearing at the Philharmonie in Berlin, La Scala in Milan, and many other leading international venues.
