An encounter between the Trio Metamorphosi and flautist Andrea Oliva, clarinettist Alessandro Carbonare, and harpist Fabrice Pierre. The sextet program features wonderful transcriptions of suites from two of the most celebrated ballets of the twentieth century: Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and Stravinsky's Petrushka. Six instrumental voices merge in an intense and compelling musical narrative, bringing the splendour and drama of the great choreographic tradition of the twentieth century to the concert hall.
