Principal Flute of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia since 2003, he has collaborated with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Bayerischer Rundfunk, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, among others. Winner of the International Competition of Kobe (2005). He has performed in the world's most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art in London in the presence of Queen Elizabeth, Wigmore Hall, Berliner Philharmonie, KKL Luzern, Palau de la Música in Valencia, and Hong Kong Academy. He teaches at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano and is a visiting professor at the RNCM in Manchester.
